Honoring Our Heroes

Wish of a Lifetime and Vital Life Foundation have teamed up to form Journey of Heroes to honor senior veterans who sacrificed so much and have never had the chance to visit the war memorials created in their honor in Washington, D.C.
Since we began the program in 2012, our annual donation has helped us take 105 Veterans on the trip of a lifetime.
According to the US Department of Veterans Affairs statistics, 119,550 of the 16.4 million Americans who served in World War II are alive as of 2023.
WOL and Vital Life are acutely aware of the imminent passing of a generation of heroes and are committed to fulfilling their Wishes before it is too late.
The trip of a lifetime includes:
• A chance to visit the war memorials in Washington, D.C.
• Travel, walking and bus tours, meals, accommodations included
• 4-day all-inclusive experience
• Trip is prioritized for WWII veterans, followed by Korean and Vietnam War veterans
• Each veteran will be accompanied by a companion.*
