Backpack to School for Great Starts
Backpack to School aims to provide essential school supplies to the children (grades K-6) of every senior care staff member working on Marquis campuses and partner facilities. The program began in 2008, and since then, nearly 23,500 backpacks have been delivered to more than 100 senior care campuses in ten states.

The backpacks are often distributed to the children by residents at highly-anticipated Backpack to School parties on senior care campuses. “We really appreciate the way the program supports our employees and their families,” said one facility administrator. “It shows our staff how important they are to us, and how much we value them.”
